The Cuban Missile Crisis

Reader N:

The big problem with Scheunenmann's comparison of Obama to Kennedy is that he cherry picked his example -- an example no one has ever heard of.  The international crisis most people associate with Jack Kennedy is the Cuban Missile Crisis, which was a resounding success.

The biggest negative was the Bay of Pigs invasion, but that was Eisenhower's plan.

All in all, not a winner for the McCain camp.

When most Americans think of JFK, they think of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

And though it was close.... we kind of won that one.
