The Daily Racism Debate

07 Oct 2008 10:51 am

Item: A Palin crowd is whipped into a frenzy; a racial epithet is shouted at a black cameraman, who is then told to "Sit down, boy."  Seriously.

Item: Barney Frank accuses Republicans of racism for criticizing the bailout package. Had it not been for the Community Reinvestment Act and the cheap mortgages provided by Fannie and Freddie, a lot of poor, black people wouldn't have homes. Item: At another Palin rally, a prominent Florida sheriff plays the "Barack Hussein Obama" card and the crowd goes wild. (The campaign calls the remark inappropriate.)
