Got questions for the senator?
E-mail me, and I'll pass them along to Katie. (Yes, really.)

Why is there not more talk/speculation/encouragement of Obama taking a sitting republican senator into his administration who is from a state with a democratic governor as a way to reach 60 and have a bipartisan cabinet?
Do you think Sarah Palin would make a good president?
Please ask Katie to ask Joe how many yrs it will be before his Committee decides to investigate the use of Armed Blackwater Mercs against the victims of Karina ? Hell ask him when he will investigate ANYTHING about DHS and Katrina.
Questions? Why would anyone bother? What Joe and his pals think of the people who donated time or money to help increase democratic majorities in congress couldn't be more clear if they'd just mailed us all a water balloon filled sunburned dog piss. I think I'll just return the favor with a dead fish or something [hey if its ok for Rahm its ok for all of us]. You wouldn't happen to have a list of the "Yea" votes or maybe Harry Reid's home address would ya Ambinder?
During the campaign, you had high praise for Sarah Palin. Were you at all troubled by her evident lack of even the most elementary understanding of foreign policy? Will you be supporting her 2012 bid for the presidency? What, in you view, have been the strategic costs of the war in Iraq? Do you believe you have more power if you remain in the Democratic caucus, or would you have more power if you joined the Republicans? Looking back, what do you most regret about your participation in John McCain's campaign? Do you feel foolish for your harsh criticism of Barack Obama in light of his magnanimity and generosity toward you, which seem to be the only things that allowed you to keep your chairmanship?
Should anyone take anything you say seriously anymore?
How closely does Mr. Lieberman expect to work with the Obama Administration, considering that he differs from Obama on the topic of America's future actions in Iraq? Does he plan to work closely with them, or does he plan to keep congressional independence? This is code for "how much rope has Obama given you after he saved your ass from the fire".
Do you believe that Bush violated the Constitution at any point as President? What were the abuses, if any, and how do you plan to use your oversight powers to prevent potential executive abuses by the next president?
Hey, Joe, what does a pregnant snake's belly smell like when you crawl under it?
What did Obama say to you when he pulled you aside on the floor of Congress many months ago? Considering the fact that you had attacked him on Israel earlier in the day and that Obama presumably asked you to cool it, why did you keep attacking him, even going after his patriotism? Why would you speak at another party's convention and attack yoru own party's nominee in front of the entire country when you had enlisted Obama's support for your re-election just 2 years ago? Do you think Obama is a socialist?
My question for the toad: Now that the Senate Democrats have graciously let bygones be bygones, will you in return promise to keep a low profile so that Democrats around the country do not have to see your ugly mug or hear your grating voice ever again?
Since you hold a leadership position in the Democratic caucus, what will you do to be doing to fundraise for Franken and ? You supported Norm Coleman in the general election, along with a handful of your Republican colleagues whom you supported. Name five Democratic members of Congress (Senate OR House) whose 2008 re-election efforts you materially and publicly supported and spell out what form your support took.
Oh, one more: If, improbably and almost impossibly, the Republicans shockingly took back the senate in 2010... Would you stay in the democratic caucus?
1. In 2006, President Elect Obama campaigned on your behalf, despite widespread criticism of you within the Democratic Party. In 2006 in order to get elected, you told your constituents that you would work in 2008 to help elect a Democratic President. How do you answer questions by your constituents in Connecticut that you betrayed their trust and the promises you made to them by actively supporting John McCain and criticizing President Elect Obama in the 2008 Presidential campaign? 2. John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, said that Barack Obama was "palling around with terrorists," that "now is not the time to experiment with socialism," and both Senator McCain and Governor Palin mentioned a "second Holocaust" on numerous occasions during the campaign. In addition, John McCain ran campaign ads suggesting that Barack Obama supported sex education for kindergartners. Was there ever a time during the campaign that you told John McCain that you thought the criticism of Barack Obama had crossed any lines? If so, why did you not ever make this criticism public? 3. After the selection of Governor Palin as Vice President and her vetting by the media and the Couric interview, did you ever have any hesitation that Governor Palin would be a heartbeat away from the Presidency?
What newspapers do you read? Follow up: Was that so hard?
Questions: 1. Many Republicans upbraided McCain for the untruthfulness of his campaign and even Colin Powell came a half-step from calling his tactics dishonorable. Yet you remained totally silent, and now you get to keep your silver pieces, too. How do you do ... that? 2. Support your friend is not typically thought of as the kind of issue of conscience that would allow someone to go out on a limb, as you have done. Given that, aren't you being rather more self-important than influential? 3. The people of Connecticut overwhelmingly rejected McCain and overwhelmingly polled against your continuing to allocate the largest amount of Executive branch passed-out gravy in a very long time, namely the Homeland Security "budget". If you didn't represent the people and they do not want you to continue on as if elections had no consequences, how do you accept a Leadership role without looking hopeless self-aggrandizing?
If President-Elect Obama asked you tomorrow what should be our 3 budget priorities for Homeland Security, what would you tell him?
Will you explicitly apologize to Barack Obama and the Democratic Party for actively campaigning AGAINST the Democratic nominee?
Given the magnanimity just shown you by the Democratic caucus, will you do everything you can to ensure that Jim Martin wins the Senate run-off in Georgia, and express your full support for Al Franken in the recount in Minnesota, thus ensuring a 60 vote majority in the Senate come January?
In all seriousness, why do you still align yourself with the Democratic Party?
Senator, if the Republicans win back the Senate in 2010, would you consider caucusing with them in order to keep the Homeland Security Chairmanship to ensure our national security? Would you be willing to sacrifice your loyalty to the Democratic party in order to protect patriotic Americans from dying, since you seem to be the only person in the Senate who are qualified for this task?
will you support president obama's reelection campaign in 2012? what decisions/actions taken by the president would bring/lose your support for his reelection? are there any gop candidates currently considering a run in 2012 to whom you would lend your support? if so, who? if not, what would they have to do to attract your attention?
When there is no more need to protect a Republican administration, will you restore an active oversight role to the Homeland Security Committee? When "surrender monkeys" surrender to you, are you pleased, contemptuous or both?
My fellow commentators have hit the highlights. Please send her: In 2006 in order to get elected, you told your constituents that you would work in 2008 to help elect a Democratic President. How do you answer questions by your constituents in Connecticut that you betrayed their trust and the promises you made to them? --KT Name five Democratic members of Congress (Senate OR House) whose 2008 re-election efforts you materially and publicly supported and spell out what form your support took. --Peter G What work by the governmental affairs committee were you proudest of last year? --Me And for kicks:
Will you leave open the possibility that you will campaign against Obama in 2012 and for the Republican nominee?
In what respect, Marc?
With Mark Begich's win over Sen. Stevens, Senate Democrats could still reach 60 votes. Do you still think that 60 Democratic votes would be bad for this country? Will you campaign for Jim Martin in Georgia?
I just want to thank Dirk at November 18, 2008 9:58 PM. Priceless. I hope you don't mind that I shared your thoughts over at Swampland.
I have 3 that I think are pretty good 1. Will you support President elect Obama's plan to withdraw our troops from Iraq on a 16 month timetable? 2. Will you campaign actively for Jim Martin in Georgia and endorse the need for a 60 seat filibuster proof Democratic majority in the Senate? 3. How do you feel about President elect Barack Obama's plans to hold talks with our enemies with out preconditions, specifically his willingness to sit down with Ahmadenijad? You see he can chalk all the stuff he did in the past up to being "caught up in the campaign", but I want to see how he answers questions about the future. Particularly issues that I think he really DOES think Obama is wrong about. Hopefully she will ask all three so we can see the cowardly lions aka Senate Dems get crushed the day after they appeased that slime ball. Filibuster proof majority my ass!
Senator Lieberman:
How does it feel going from being John McCain's bitch to Barack Obama and Harry Reid's bitch?
I know it's months away, but what are your plans for Yom Kippur?
Question for Mr. Lieberman:
You are going to love this new sci-fi book because...

Why does the country's national security require that you chair the Homeland Security Committee?
